Tips for a Better Fit
If your new Tar Trap doesn’t fit perfectly, here are some simple adjustments:
If It’s Too Big or Tight
Use a file or fine sandpaper to carefully shave down the sides until it fits snugly.
Take your time – precision is key to achieving the right fit.
If It’s Too Small or Loose
Allow a small buildup of resin around the hole to help hold the Tar Trap in place.
Alternatively, use a slender nail and gently hammer a tiny dent into the side of the Tar Trap to create a welt for a better fit. Adding a second dent on the opposite side may further improve stability.
