MAD Heaters Tempest 2 Slim Vaporizer
The MAD Heaters Tempest 2 Slim is a compact, high-performance manual dry herb vaporizer designed to deliver powerful convection-heavy extraction, excellent flavour and impressive cooling in an exceptionally slim form factor.
Building on the Tempest platform, the Tempest 2 Slim measures just 14.5mm in diameter while retaining the ball-filled thermal matrix, visual temperature indicator and click feedback that make the Tempest system so distinctive.
Designed for a full extraction in a single heat-up, the Tempest 2 Slim combines high airflow with an adjustable bowl, efficient cooling and precise temperature feedback. It can be heated using a compatible induction heater such as the iSpire Wand or YLL 3.0.

What’s New With the Tempest 2 Slim?
The Tempest 2 Slim introduces several refinements to the Tempest design.
The adjustable bowl can now be reduced to approximately 0.05g, making it particularly useful when you want a smaller amount of material without sacrificing the Tempest extraction experience.
MAD Heaters has also improved the track for the twist-to-lock ball screen, along with revised bowl-locking grooves on the stem.
Stainless Steel & Titanium Options
The Tempest 2 Slim is available in both 316 stainless steel and Grade 5 titanium versions.
The stainless steel model weighs approximately 61g, while the lighter titanium version weighs approximately 42g. Both measure approximately 122mm long × 14.5mm wide.
Available Colours & Materials
• Stainless Steel
• Stainless Steel – All Black
• Titanium
• Titanium – All Black
• Titanium – Lime Green
• Titanium – Purple
• Titanium – Aqua
Ball-Filled Thermal Matrix
At the heart of the Tempest 2 Slim is its ball-filled thermal matrix.
The stainless steel version contains approximately 40 × 3mm quartz balls, while the titanium version uses approximately 40 × 3mm zirconia balls.
The balls can also be changed, allowing experienced users to experiment with different thermal characteristics, heat retention and extraction behaviour.
Water Pipe Compatibility
The Tempest 2 Slim provides native 10mm WPA compatibility.
MAD Heaters also states that some 14mm water pipe adapters may be compatible, provided that at least 45mm of the stem can fit inside the adapter.
Compatible Induction Heaters
The Tempest 2 Slim is compatible with:
• iSpire Wand
• YLL 3.0
Important: Some iSpire Wand units may have an opening that is too narrow. MAD Heaters advises that the opening needs to be at least 14.0mm. If there is no clearance around the Tempest 2 Slim, it should not be forced into the heater.
What’s Included?
