Frequently Asked Questions
What is the warranty period for Puffco devices?
Puffco devices (new units, excluding atomizers) come with a 1-year limited warranty from the date of purchase. Atomizers are warranted only for 1 month.
What does the Puffco warranty cover and what voids it?
The warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship. It does not cover glass, atomizers (beyond the atomizer warranty period), damage from misuse, non-approved accessories, cosmetic damage, or changes made by unauthorised repair.
Does Puffco ship to the UK and internationally?
Yes — Puffco’s support pages list the United Kingdom among the European countries they ship to.
How do I clean and maintain my Puffco Peak / Peak Pro / Pivot?
Regular maintenance includes swabbing the chamber after each use, deep cleaning with 99% isopropyl alcohol as needed, cleaning glass parts separately, and ensuring the base and connectors are kept dry and residue-free.
How long do atomizers last and how do I know when to replace them?
Atomizer lifespan depends on use and maintenance; heavy use or residue buildup will shorten life. When airflow is reduced, flavour is muted, or when you see burning or discoloration, it’s time to replace. Warranty for atomizers is only 1 month.
Can I use third-party accessories with my Puffco device?
Using unapproved or non-Puffco accessories may void the warranty. Always use accessories recommended or sold by Puffco for best performance and warranty protection.
What should I do if my Puffco device stops charging or has battery issues?
First check the charging cable and port, ensure correct power source. Clean connectors. If still faulty and within warranty, contact Puffco support with proof of purchase to initiate a warranty claim.
How do I tell if a Puffco device is authentic?
Purchase from authorised retailers, keep your receipt/invoice, check packaging, holograms, and serial numbers, and register the device if Puffco offers product registration. Avoid deals that seem too good or from dubious sellers.
Is it safe to use damp cleaning swabs or alcohol when the device is still hot?
No. Alcohol should be used when the device is cool to avoid thermal shock. Make sure all parts are fully dry before using again to avoid damage.
What kind of temperature settings do Puffco Peak / Peak Pro offer, and how do I choose the right one?
Puffco devices allow a range of temperature settings; higher temps give thicker vapor and more extraction but can reduce flavour or consume concentrates faster. Lower temps preserve flavour and aromas but require more careful technique. Choose depending on your concentrate quality and personal preference.
